CURRICULUM
Certificate in 2D & 3D Animation is a 1-year program. In this course we cover animation Pre-production, 2D Animation & 3D Modelling. The course structure includes –
- Sketching & Composition – This includes basic design, 2D compositions, still life & nature study, perspective sketching, coloring, human form & proportions, drawing for animation, character design & Manual BG & Layout.
- Principles of Animation (On- Lightbox) – This involves learning all principles of animation using traditional animation on lightbox.
- Photoshop – Use of photoshop for cleanup of rough ideas to create concept art, character design & making layouts & background for animation with coloring.
- Adobe Flash Animation – Learning digital 2D animation on Flash
- Autodesk Maya – Digital Modeling Methods, 3D Modeling – Hard Surface & Organic
- History of Animation – A study of the history of Animation from 1888 till the modern era which includes study of classics & the work of world-famous animation studios.
