CERTIFICATE IN PAINTING (1 Year)
In this course you learn sketching, drawing, color theory, still life, landscapes, nature study & composition. You explore all mediums from pencil colors, water colors, poster colors to charcoal & acrylic. This is for people who wants to explore their artistic side as a painter or just learn painting as a hobby.

Certificate Offered by : Artemisia College of Art & Design, affiliated to Raja Mansingh Tomar Music & Arts university, the largest Fine Arts university of Madhya Pradesh (MP) (Govt. recognized & UGC approved)
Duration : 1 year. Term begins in July and ends with examinations in April – May.
Mode of Instruction : Full-Time. On-campus. Distance education mode NOT available.
Curriculum
- History of Indian Paintings– This involves a study of Indian Art from Pre-historic to Buddha period & Rock paintings of Ajanta and Bagh caves.
- Still Life & Nature Study – Study of various objects, forms & drapery in both pencil & color.
- Composition – Study of figures, compositions & colors.
- Print Making – In include basic printing techniques, lino cut & wood cut.
- Fundamental of Arts– This involves understanding the meaning of fundamentals of fine arts. Elements of arts and principles of arts.
- Study of master’s – This involve study of renowned artist work. Understanding their concept and techniques.
- Landscape – This includes study of different aspects of landscape such as atmospheric perspective, light and shadow, natural elements and composition.
