Indore has been declared as the cleanest city of India thrice in a row (2017, 2018 & 2019). Indore spread over a land area of about 530 square kilometres (200 sqmi) with a population of about 4.5 million makes it a densely populated major city of Central India. Indore is the business capital of Central India and is often called ‘Mini Mumbai (Bombay)”. However, Indore is also an education hub offering high quality education with large number of universities and colleges. Students come from all over India to study at Indore as some of India’s top Universities & Colleges such as the famous Indian Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Management are in Indore.
Artemisia College does not have its own residence / hostel facility. However, since students come from all over the world to study at Artemisia College, we have very friendly staff to assist you with housing search. Excellent hostel facilities, apartments, paying guest accommodations are available at very competitive rates. One can find a hostel between US$ 100-110 monthly rent including Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, all utilities such as Electricity, internet and water. Hostel rooms can be shared by one person or can be unshared. Bathrooms (toilet with hot & cold water) are attached to the rooms. One-Two bedroom unfurnished apartments monthly rent is between US$100-200 and can be shared by 2-4 students. All apartments have usually two bathrooms and Kitchen. Fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment will cost about US$ 150-250 depending on the size, quality & location in the City.
It is mandatory for all students requiring housing to complete the housing request form. After receiving this form, the housing staff at the international students office will email you all the housing alternatives, meal plans, etc. with exact costs so that you can choose either before arrival or after your arrival at Indore. In case you want to choose after arrival, you must contact the international students office atleast 10 days before your arrival for making temporary stay arrangements.
We shall make temporary stay arrangements for you in case you have not finalized your housing and would like to finalize after you reach Indore. You must arrive in Indore atleast 5 days before the start of classes, i.e. by July 10 or earlier.
