CURRICULUM
Certificate in Fashion Design is a 1-year program. In this course we cover the basics of fashion design required for designing a garment & the process involved. The course structure includes –
- Fashion Illustration – This includes Still Life, Nature Study, Texture Study, Compositions, Coloring using Different Mediums, Human form & proportions & complete Fashion Illustration from basic to advanced.
- Pattern Making & Garment Construction – This includes both hand & machine sewing techniques along with pattern making to make basic garments.
- Basics of Textiles – This includes study of different types of textiles & fabric along with properties & use.
- History of Fashion – In this topic you get a brief overview of fashion history studying all important eras & styles.
