Admissions at Artemisia college degree courses are through the ACAD Entrance TEST OR Portfolio Submission followed by a Personal Interview. Students are not required to give entrance exam for Certificate & Diploma Courses. However, submission of a portfolio will increase the chances of admission. Admission is competitive as there are limited number of seats in each field of design –
- B.Design Animation – 60 seats
- B.Design Game Design -60 seats
- B.Design Fashion Design – 50 seats
- B.Design Interior Design – 50 seats
- BFA Painting – 40 Seats
- BFA Sculpture – 20 Seats
- All Certificate/Diploma Courses – 10 Seats per course
Admission Procedure
We only offer admission to students who have the design aptitude required to progress in their field. Steps for applying to ACAD –
STEP 1 – Selecting the admission process & filling the form for that process.
There are two ways to apply for admission at Artemisia College of Art & Design. Applicants may choose any one of the following options:
1. Entrance Exam
OR
2. Portfolio Based Admission
Students applying for Certificate or Diploma courses are not required to appear for the entrance exam or submit a portfolio. They can directly fill the application form and proceed to the personal interview stage.
Guidelines for Selecting the Appropriate Process
- Entrance Exam Process
Students who do not have a design portfolio can apply through the Entrance Exam route.
Applicants must complete the online entrance exam application form and pay the Admission Test Fee of ₹1000.
The ACAD Entrance Exam is an online MCQ-based creative aptitude test designed to assess a student’s creative thinking and design sensibility.
Students who qualify the entrance exam will be invited for a personal interview, which may be conducted online or on campus.
- Portfolio Based Admission
Students who already have creative work can apply through the Portfolio Based Admission process.
Applicants must submit their creative work through the portfolio admission form along with an application fee of ₹1000. Students applying through this route do not need to appear for the entrance exam.
Creative work may include:

Drawings

Illustrations

Photographs of sculptures or models

Scripts or creative writing

Creative blogs

Movie clips

Digital artwork such as CGI, animation, or digital illustrations
The submitted portfolio is evaluated by an expert committee.
If the portfolio is approved, the student will be invited for a personal interview, which can be conducted online or at the college campus.
The date and time of the interview will be scheduled by the Admissions Office in consultation with the student.
If the portfolio is not approved, the applicant can still appear for the ACAD Entrance Exam. In such cases, the portfolio application will automatically be transferred to the entrance exam process, and the student does not need to submit a new form or pay any additional fee.
STEP 2 – Interview Process
After successfully clearing either the Entrance Exam or the Portfolio Evaluation, students must appear for a Personal Interview.
A parent or guardian must be present during the interview.
The interview may be conducted:

Online (via Google Meet, Zoom, or WhatsApp Video Call), or

In person at the college campus
The interview will be conducted by a member of the Admissions Committee and may be held in English or Hindi, depending on the student’s preference.

STEP 3 – Admission Decision and Issuing of the Admission Letter
Admission at Artemisia is based on a holistic evaluation process. The Admissions Committee considers several factors, including:

Performance in the Entrance Exam or Portfolio Evaluation

Past achievements and extracurricular activities
If the Admissions Committee grants admission, the Admission Letter is issued within 3–5 days after the interview.
The Admission Letter is sent to the student via email and includes:

STEP 4 – Paying the Admission Confirmation Deposit
After receiving the Admission Letter, the student must register using the provided registration number on the fee payment portal and pay the Admission Confirmation Deposit (which is part of the tuition fee) before the specified deadline.
Students may also pay the fee at the college campus through:

Timely payment is important because the number of seats is limited, and the college is affiliated with a government university with fixed intake capacity.
Step 5 – Admission Confirmation
Once the Admission Confirmation Deposit has been paid:

Students can download the fee receipt from the online payment portal, or
-
Collect the receipt from the college campus if payment was made offline.
After confirmation, the college administration will contact the student regarding:
