Artemisia College of Art & Design offers three full-time, on-campus fashion pathways: a one-year Certificate in Fashion Design, a two-year Diploma in Fashion Design, and a four-year B.Design Fashion Design degree. The certificate builds core skills, the diploma develops more advanced studio capability, and the degree includes broader professional subjects such as brand management, apparel manufacturing, range development, internship, and a graduating show.

For the Certificate and Diploma in Fashion Design, applicants need 10+2 or an equivalent qualification in any discipline, including Science, Commerce, Humanities, or Fine Arts. These programs offer direct admission and do not require an entrance exam or portfolio. The four-year B.Design Fashion Design program admits students through the ACAD Entrance Test or portfolio-based early admission followed by a personal interview.

An entrance exam is not required for the one-year Certificate in Fashion Design or the two-year Diploma in Fashion Design; eligible applicants can apply through direct admission. For the four-year B.Design Fashion Design program, students may apply through the ACAD Entrance Test, which has a ₹1,000 form fee, or pursue portfolio-based early admission followed by a personal interview.

The one-year certificate course introduces the fashion design process through fashion illustration, composition, colouring, human form and proportions, textiles, fashion history, pattern making, garment construction, and hand and machine sewing. It is designed to give students a practical foundation in how garments move from an initial visual concept to a constructed piece, making it suitable for learners entering the field in a shorter duration.

The four-year B.Design program covers fashion illustration, textiles, pattern making, garment construction, dyeing and printing, surface design, fabric studies, forecasting, styling, visual merchandising, accessory design, fashion communication, brand management, apparel manufacturing, costing, and range development. Students also complete a craft and industry research project, internship, graduating show, and portfolio-oriented work that supports their transition into professional fashion roles.

Yes. Adobe Illustrator is taught for digital fashion illustration and computer-aided design work in the B.Design and Diploma pathways. Students use digital illustration skills to develop and communicate fashion concepts alongside hands-on learning in drawing, textiles, pattern making, sewing, garment construction, and surface design. This combination helps students understand both visual presentation and practical apparel development.

The Certificate in Fashion Design is described as a useful option for learners who want to build foundational fashion skills in a shorter duration. However, it is a full-time, on-campus program, and distance education is not available. Applicants should consider the class schedule and attendance expectations carefully before combining it with another academic commitment or professional responsibility.
